Bianca will lead a compelling discussion with Kim Singletary (BBA ’82) and her daughters—Jill Atogwe, Jackie Gibson, and Brooke McReynolds—on navigating faith in today’s digital age.
We are also honored to recognize Martha Edwards Floyd (BA ’54) as the 2025 Woman of Distinction during this special gathering. Don’t miss this inspiring afternoon of conversation, connection, and celebration!
ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS
Bianca Castro (BA '03)
Bianca Castro is an award-winning journalist and co-anchor of NBC 5’s First at Four, where she also reports on health issues impacting North Texans. Before joining NBC 5 in 2014, she worked in Orlando, Corpus Christi, and Waco. A proud Baylor alumna, she discovered her passion for broadcast journalism as a college intern in Dallas. Now living in Frisco, she enjoys golf, stays active with her husband and three children, and attends Prestonwood Baptist Church.
Kim Singletary (BBA '82)
Kim Singletary is a speaker and mentor passionate about helping women discover their God-given value. Married to NFL Hall of Famer Mike Singletary for 40 years, she led Bible studies for coaches’ and players’ wives throughout his career. Now based in Dallas, she serves with Embrace Grace ministry and Women in Leadership Development (WILD). She treasures time with her seven children and 16 grandchildren, most of whom live nearby, and enjoys traveling with Mike or relaxing at their home.
Jill Atogwe
Jill Atogwe is a writer, artist, and stylist dedicated to helping women embrace beauty in everyday life. She published her first children’s book, Left Out, in 2024 and authors The Gold Standard, a weekly newsletter. A former collegiate volleyball player, she earned her degree in Fashion from Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Now based in Texas, she and her husband Oshiomogho stay busy raising their four children while renovating their home.
Jackie Gibson
Jackie Gibson is a photographer and artist with a passion for adventure and creativity. A graduate of art school, she met her husband Seth while visiting her sister Brooke at Wheaton College. They now have four children, including a newborn son. While she loves to travel, she’s a homebody at heart, embracing life’s moments with spontaneity and joy.
Brooke McReynolds
Brooke McReynolds is a wife, mom, and creative with a love for family, health, and baking. She began college at Wheaton, where she met her husband Matthew on the track team, before transferring to DBU. Now raising three children while honoring the memory of one in heaven, she shares her passions through social media and enjoys making personalized decorative cookies.
ABOUT OUR WOMAN OF DISTINCTION
Martha Edwards Floyd (BA ’54) is a dedicated volunteer, lifelong Baylor supporter, and will be honored as the 2025 Woman of Distinction. A charter member of the Baylor University Women’s Council of Dallas, Martha earned her degree in Education and English before moving to Dallas in 1958 with her husband, Bob.
Passionate about serving her church and community, Martha taught 5th grade Sunday School for over 35 years at Park Cities Baptist Church, where she also served as a Division Leader. She and Bob were members of Baylor’s Development Council from 1982–1994, and she has held various leadership roles within the Baylor Women’s Council, including chairing the Woman of Distinction Committee in 1994–1995. A proud mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Martha is a beloved friend to many, and we are honored to celebrate her at the BUWC Dallas Spring Luncheon.
