ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Marcus Mohon (BS '92) was drawing and scribbling from a young age, and his creative side eventually won out. Creating spaces where people can live, laugh and love with their families and those closest to them is a passion for Marcus more than a career. His first priority is the "who" behind the project rather than the house or the furnishings. Serving the client matters – a value that Marcus has inherited from his family, friends and faith.

Unlike many interior designers, Marcus's deep expertise and fluency in architecture has developed over many high profile projects with interiors he's designed in practice with noted architectures for over 18 years.

As a national leader for the interior design community, Marcus serves on the national board of the Leaders of Design Council. Through this position, Marcus contributes to thought leadership in markets such as LA, New York, and Chicago. His global connections allow clients access to a worldwide network of hand-selected artists, artisans and craftspeople.

Featured in many regional and national magazines, Marcus's work is at the forefront of the industry. He and his wife Autumn travel the globe to pull trends, materials and techniques forward into the future of interior experiences.

Marcus and Autumn live in Austin, Texas with four children.

Events hosted by the Baylor University Women's Council of Houston are open to every member of the Baylor Family–alumni, parents, and friends of the University.
