Founded in 1988, the Baylor University Women's Council of Dallas unites local alum, parents, and supporters who share a deep commitment to Baylor University.
Together, we foster community through events and gatherings, support one another and our communities with Baylor connections, and make an impact by empowering students to pursue their Baylor dreams with scholarship funding.
Through our local group, you can connect with the strong, intelligent and inspiring Baylor Family who are making a lasting difference in each other's lives and for Baylor students across the nation.
Woman of Distinction
Each academic year, the Baylor University Women's Council of Dallas honors a Woman of Distinction based upon her service to Baylor and to her Community (religious organization, profession, cultural organization, education). This honoree is nominated for this distinction by a BUWC Officer, Director, Member, or Baylor Official who has worked actively with BUWC, then selected by a Recognition Committee appointed by the President and approved by the BUWC officers.
