Finding Strength in Vulnerability
When Peter Burnett (BBA ’03) thinks back on his time at Baylor, it’s the sense of belonging, purpose, and growth that stands out most. As a student, Baylor gave him more than just an education, it helped shape the way he approaches life, leadership, and connection.
Two decades later, Peter’s journey has taken him through fatherhood, heartbreak, healing, and ultimately, transformation. His time at Baylor laid a foundation of faith and reflection that continues to guide him as he helps others find hope in the hard seasons.
Today, Peter is using his voice to encourage meaningful conversations through his new book, Conversations I Wish I Had: The Unspoken Stories of Men, a powerful and personal look at the emotional lives of men and the healing that comes through vulnerability.
We're proud of the Baylor Bears who lead with purpose and heart—and grateful for alumni like Peter who carry that spirit into the world.
