Stephanie’s Baylor Ring: A Tangible Symbol of Hard Work and Sacrifice

🎓💚 Stephanie Mata’s Baylor journey is a story of purpose, family, and joy! A social work major and family studies minor graduating this May, Stephanie first discovered Baylor through her high school. After touring schools across Texas, she and her family visited Baylor, and she instantly knew this was where God was calling her. Confident that social work was her calling, Stephanie applied early, ready to embrace her purpose.

Last week, Stephanie received her Baylor Ring—a symbol of achievement, love, and the support of those who have walked alongside her. When asked about her family’s visible joy during the event, Stephanie said it best: “It’s not my ring, it’s our ring.” Her words beautifully reflect the shared sacrifices, pride, and deep bond that define the Baylor Family.
