Regions I serve: Central Texas, Washington, DC, and Kansas City

Year I joined Baylor: 2006 (as a student), 2010 (as a staff member)

My Baylor Story: I came to Baylor as a student in 2006 and quickly found community through Alpha Tau Omega and Student Government, where I later had the privilege of serving as Student Body President. That experience sparked my passion for higher education and ultimately led me to a career at Baylor, beginning in the President’s Office under Judge Ken Starr and later in Student Life as the Troy and Betty Mays Director of Student Foundation. Over the past 14 years, I’ve served in a variety of roles in advancement and alumni engagement, and I am continually grateful for the way Baylor feels like family—giving us the chance to invest in our students, colleagues, and community.

Hometown: Cleburne, TX

Favorite thing about Baylor: Baylor has the big school resources and big-time athletics while giving its students the small school experience and attention. Simply put, we don’t treat our students like numbers!

What Inspires Me: I am inspired by how Baylor lives its faith in action—remaining steadfast in its Christian mission while striving for the highest levels of academic excellence. I am grateful to serve at a university that unites faith, scholarship, and global impact, always putting our students’ intellectual, character, and spiritual growth first.

Favorite Hobbies: Listening to podcasts, playing fantasy football, hosting game nights with board games or mahjong, and spending time with my family.

Fun Facts About Me: We have four beautiful and fun boys in our family, who keep things lively every day! Plus, if you ever see me wearing a suit, I’ll usually be wearing a bowtie! (It’s a habit I picked up while living in Athens, Georgia!)

My Advice for the Baylor Family: The Baylor experience is made possible by the generosity of the Baylor Family—through gifts of every size. Your support opens doors for students to take full advantage of all Baylor has to offer. Looking back, two of my biggest regrets as a student were missing out on Baylor Line Camp and a study abroad program, largely because of financial barriers. Thanks largely to scholarships, I was still able to graduate on time from Baylor—an opportunity I will never take for granted.

My Favorite Scriptures: 1 Timothy 6:17-19, Colossians 3:23
