The National Engagement team builds meaningful connections with Baylor alumni, parents, and friends through events, volunteer opportunities, philanthropy, career connectivity, and personal outreach. Our work supports all aspects of alumni engagement by fostering relationships that deepen affinity and inspire lifelong involvement with Baylor. We help turn Baylor pride into lasting impact.

Regions I Serve: Austin and San Antonio

Year I joined Baylor: 2025

My Baylor Story: Baylor has been part of my family’s story since 2016. Three of my children have attended or are attending Baylor, and my daughter even met her husband here! Experiencing Baylor’s warmth, intentionality, and Christ-centered spirit firsthand inspires my work as Assistant Director of National Engagement. I’m honored to help extend Baylor’s mission beyond campus — building connections, fostering alumni engagement, and serving as a bridge between the university and our Austin and San Antonio communities.

Hometown: McAllen, TX (moved to Austin in 1987)

Favorite thing about Baylor: I love how Christ and our Christian faith is centered throughout Baylor, and how faith is woven into every aspect of the university — from the classroom experience to the work we do and the way we live and serve together.

What Inspires Me: Growing in my relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, His Word, and faith-based communities.

Favorite Hobbies: I love walks and have recently embraced the challenge of running. My happy place is the beach, especially when I’m with family. I also enjoy hearing people’s stories and praying with others.

Fun Facts About Me: My first language was Spanish, and I’m fully fluent. I’m a first-generation college graduate and proud UT-Austin alum who loves being part of both the Longhorn and Baylor communities.

My Advice for the Baylor family: Approach life at Baylor with curiosity and humility, embracing people and opportunities as gifts. Be open to the ways the Lord is working through relationships and experiences — on campus and beyond — and allow those moments to deepen your faith, learning, and love for others.

Favorite Scripture: Numbers 6:24-26, Jeremiah 29:11
