Regions I serve: Dallas, Fort Worth, and Oklahoma

Year I joined Baylor: October 2025

My Baylor Story: My husband completed his MBA at Baylor and later became a part-time lecturer at Hankamer School of Business. Not long after, my daughter and I visited and fell in love with the Baylor community. She joined the Baylor Family and has loved her time as a Bear and Tri Delta. Seeing how special Baylor is to both my husband and my daughter, I couldn’t wait to join the family too!

Hometown: Indianapolis, IN (now living in Frisco, TX)

Favorite thing about Baylor: What I love most about Baylor are the amazing people—students, staff, faculty, parents, and alumni—who made us feel like family right from the start.

What Inspires Me: I’m inspired by people and their stories—the things that matter most to them. I love learning new ideas and perspectives, and Jesus’ love and example help me appreciate the importance of connection, kindness, and serving others.

Favorite Hobbies: I love hanging out with friends—whether it’s at book clubs, Bible studies, running groups, golf outings, or just sharing a good meal. I’m all about learning and growth, both professionally and personally, and I especially enjoy inspirational nonfiction books and podcasts. I’m a little obsessed with Pinterest, love volunteering and hosting, and enjoy exploring new places and restaurants. When I travel (which I love!), I like taking cooking classes with my husband. I also really enjoy spending time with my daughter and our Bernedoodle. And I’m always up for a concert, a theater show, or a sporting event.

Fun Facts About Me: Before joining the Baylor Family, I spent much of my career working as a PK-12 educator in both public and private schools across three different states. I hold degrees from Indiana University, Butler University, and the University of Florida. Throughout my career, I've worn many hats—teaching general and special education, serving as a school counselor, and working as an administrator at both the building and district levels. My experience spans all grade levels, from early childhood through high school. Outside of education, I’ve run a few marathons and am proud to be a first-generation college graduate. I’m also a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, serve on the board of Girls on the Run, and am active in the Junior League of Collin County.

My Advice for the Baylor Family: Take full advantage of the connections you make—our family has been so positively changed by the people we’ve met at and through Baylor. There really is nothing like the Baylor community!

My Favorite Scripture: Lamentations 3:22-23
