Margaret Diddams, Ph.D.

Margaret Diddams is a leadership scholar and consultant with decades of experience helping Christian leaders navigate organizational complexity while leading with character.

Earlier in her career, Margaret held senior management roles in Microsoft’s IT group, leading global metrics initiatives. She later founded a consulting practice focused on leadership development. After 20 years as a professor of management and psychology at Seattle Pacific University, Margaret served as Provost at Wheaton College, overseeing faculty and strategic academic programming. She continues to teach leadership courses at Wheaton.

Her scholarship focuses on leadership and organizational culture.  She is the Editor of Christian Scholar’s Review, a peer-reviewed journal that advances scholarship rooted in Christian faith, and the author of numerous articles and chapters on leadership, hope, and the modern meanings people ascribe to work. Margaret is the co-author, with Shirley Mullen, of the forthcoming book Tried and True: The Countercultural Virtues of Christian Leadership (InterVarsity Academic, 2026).

Margaret holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from New York University and a B.A. in Psychology from Wheaton College. She lives in Seattle with her husband, Stan, and is the mother of four adult children and grandmother to three.
